Total : 2801 posts
1. Trackman (Engineering dept.) : 1979 Posts (SC-297, ST-148, OBC-534, UR:1000)
2. Helper-II (Departments : Electrical,Engineering, Mechanical and S&T) : 440 Posts (SC-66, ST-33, OBC-119, UR-222)
3. Assistant Points Man Department : Operating) :  382 Posts (SC-57, ST-29, OBC-103, UR-193)
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2014) : Candidates age limit should be between 18-33 years.
Educational Qualification : pass in 10th or ITI or equivalent .
Examination Fee : Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) in the form of crossed demand draft from State Bank of India or from any other National Bank or crossed Indian Order drawn in favour of Assistant Personnel Officer (Recruitment), Railway Recruitment Cell, Secunderabad-500071 payable at Hyderabad or Secunderabad. 
SC/ST, women candidates, minority communities, backward classes and persons with disabilities and ex serviceman are exempted from payment of examination fee.
Selection Process: Written examination, physical efficiency test and medical examination.
